2024 Advanced Youth Logrolling Workshop

Are you ready for the exciting upcoming 2024 logrolling season?
Get ready for the season at the fifth annual Advanced Youth Logrolling Workshop! Reach the top of your game and learn to sharpen your skills at an elite level this summer by joining 5x World Champion women's logroller Livi Pappadopoulos and several of the best amateurs in the Midwest at this fun and intense training session. This workshop will provide an experience that challenges youth to roll against talented competition, learn drills and skills, and understand new ways to better themselves as athletes. This event is directed toward high-level amateur rollers ages 8-16 who will compete at the 2024 world championships or are referred by a pro logroller/coach. A maximum of 20 participants will be accepted for each session.

This event is designed for driven and experienced athletes. All participants are expected to follow instructions, participate in all activities as asked, and demonstrate respect and sportsmanship to instructors and peers during the workshop. Parents and guardians are asked to drop their athletes off at the start of the event and return within the last 30 minutes of the workshop to allow for a focused environment. Snacks will be provided and all athletes will receive a t-shirt! Stay tuned for more event details as the workshop approaches.

Now's your chance- give logrolling a try!

All ages are invited to join World Champion logroller Livi Pappadopoulos to give the fun sport of logrolling a spin this summer!

When was the last time you did something for the first time? Everyone says, "I could never do that, I'd fall in right away" or "I'd look stupid trying to even get on it." It is REALLY difficult at first but I've also never seen anyone not laugh and have a blast their first time trying it. Logrolling is a wonderfully safe and fun activity for all ages, so take a chance and give it a roll! (And don't be embarrassed if you have a funny fall, it happens to all of us!)

The Holmen Summer Splash tournament began in 2017 with a simple of goal of offering an opportunity for park and rec summer logrolling students to show off their logrolling skills with others of similar experience levels. Over the years, it has grown and successfully created a fun and memorable experience for beginners! All ages and experience levels are invited. the tournament will include the following competition divisions:
-Junior Girls and Junior Boys (10 and under)
-Senior Girls and Senior Boys (11-15)
-Adult Co-Ed (16+)
-Junior Advanced Co-Ed (competitive and experienced rollers 10 and under)
-Senior Advanced Co-Ed (competitive and experienced rollers 10 and under)

There will be great food and prizes up for grabs! The Holmen Summer Splash is one of the very best opportunities in the Coulee Region for beginners, so be sure to check it out. More information and photos from previous years are available on the Coulee Region Logrolling Facebook Page.
